I got all the quilting except the background done this afternoon, and I am happy with how it came out. Here' what I have so far-

I'm thinking I'd like to do a geometric based design from Charlotte Warr Anderson's latest book, 'One Line at a Time.' It's the book this quilt was in, and I like the idea of a geometric structure under all these elements. The only issue I can see is that it could be a challenge getting it consistent, since the background is mainly around the edges. So I'll think about that overnight.
In the meantime, I have plenty to keep me occupied for the rest of Sunday- ironing clothes for the week, putting away the laundry, that sort of mundane task. And, I plan to watch the women's final of the US Open tonight. Hope your week is a good one!

your quilting is awesome on this piece! I never would have undertaken that! You did a great job on the background, and I love the quilting on the yellow piece on the left side!
