It's Coming Along. . . .

I got some more work done on the second Walk in the Woods, and I am happy with what is going on.

I am also liking the irregular edges, and while I am piecing I'm thinking about ways to keep them in the finished quilt. I still don't have an answer, and probably won't until I start trying ideas out.

In the meantime, t'm trying to catch up on two seasons of Downton Abbey with Hulu. How did I miss out on this when it started- it is my idea of perfect TV!

Looking good. When I ran into the problem of backing the parts that stuck out of the edges I resorted to fusing, but it is too complicated to explain here. I agree about Downton Abbey - but everyone doesn't, I have a friend that thinks it is boring!! Not so, I can hardly wait for Sunday night to roll around.

Really looks good. Can't wait to see it finished.

Love Downton Abbey and it is all but boring.

This is really coming along Beverly! I'm looking forward to seeing how you deal with the irregular edges. Perhaps you might consider setting the piece on a background matte, but rasied slightly to give it a 3D effect.
